As a consequence Clean Air Group (the holding company) and Euromate will be renamed to Plymovent. The subsidiaries Lucom (The Netherlands) and Clean Air Group (South Africa) will be rebranded in 2012. Under this one brand Plymovent continues to provide products, systems and services for clean air at work.
Today both Euromate and Plymovent offer solutions for welding fume extraction and filtration, but they also offer product ranges that are complementary to each other. Euromate has built a strong reputation as a supplier of tobacco smoke solutions with products like air cleaners and smoking cabins. On the other hand Plymovent offers products and systems for the extraction and filtration of oil mist in metalworking industries and vehicle exhaust extraction systems in for example fire stations and repair garages. By joining the two brands a stronger brand with a wider business portfolio is created.
Eduard de Haan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clean Air Group, comments enthusiastically: “The economic recession asks for creativity and has accelerated some strategic decision making. To increase the efficiency in our organisation and to strengthen our market position we will carry out one brand name from 1st January 2011. After 35 years we say farewell to the company name Euromate. For our employees and customers this will be quite a change, but this decision will turn out fruitful in the near future”
The ‘new’ Plymovent Group has manufacturing sites in Alkmaar (The Netherlands), Lycksele (Sweden) and South Africa (for the local market). Plymovent has a global distribution network with 11 sales offices in Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, The Netherlands, Sweden, South Africa, United States and United Kingdom. In more than 45 other countries Plymovent is represented by a network of authorised distributors. The head office of Plymovent is located in Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands.
