Plymovent extraction arms

Our Pymovent extraction arms extract fumes and dust near the source to protect the welder, workshop and other personnel. Making it a safer work environment for everyone. Plymovent offers a diverse range extraction arms for various applications, like capturing welding and soldering fumes, gases, vapours, dust. Some arms are also suited for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing industry.

The extraction arm is easily positioned near the source of the pollution and captures the fumes and dust before spreading through the air. The fumes are drawn into the extraction arm and then transported to a filter or vented outside.

Mounting an extraction arm

Our extraction arms are a part of the complete extraction solution. The arm can be connected to a mobile fume extractor, a fixed welding fume extractor or it can be part of a general ventilation and filtration system with duct and fans.

The extraction arm itself can be installed on a stanchion, wall mounted or some of our smaller extraction arms can even be installed on a workbench. When wall mounted, an extractor crane can be added to increase the reach of the arm.

Easy re-positioning

It is easy to adjust the fume extraction arm. Many arms have an external support construction for uninterrupted airflow. Some arms arm have a counterweight for easy positioning. An optional working light or airflow sensor can be installed on the extraction arm as well.

Extraction arm sizes

Depending on your workshop and activities, the extraction arms of Plymovent are available in various diameters and in various lengths. If an extractor crane is attached to the arm, the reach can easily be increased with 4,5 meters.
