Solutions for any size working area

Spring return hose systems are recommended for smaller working areas.

1. Small sized working area

Spring return hose systems are recommended for smaller working areas with a general working radius from 1.5m to 3m/5ft to 10ft. When exhaust extraction is needed, the user pulls the exhaust hose down and attaches the nozzle to the vehicle tailpipe. When finished the operator disconnects the nozzle and retracts the hose by pulling the hose out a little further and the allows the hose to smoothly recoil upward.

An exhaust removal system can be made out of a number of different products, depending on your requirements, some examples:

  • Spring-operated exhaust reels (SER)
  • Fixed exhaust extractor (FE) with direct-mount fan (FEF)

2. Medium sized working area

We provide source capture exhaust extraction systems that fit direct to the vehicle with a working radius from 1.5m to 6m/5ft to 20ft. As hoses on the floor are often not preferred we provide products that bring the hose down from above, allowing safer working conditions.

An exhaust removal system can be made out of a number of different products, depending on your requirements, some examples:

  • Spring operated exhaust reels (SER)
  • Motorized hose reels (MHR, MSHR, MER)
  • The flexible exhaust rail system (MRP)
  • Hose reel on rail (HRR)
  • Hose reel on boom (EB)

3. Large sized working area

With Plymovent exhaust extraction solutions you can safely capture and remove hazardous vehicle exhaust fumes from the work area whenever connected to the vehicle tail pipe. Many of the Plymovent systems are ideally suited for large work areas, where the tailpipe is within a 6m to 9m/20ft to 30ft) distance from where the hose/hose reel is positioned.

With a wide variety of Plymovent products, you have the opportunity to utilize hose reels, boom systems or extraction rails depending on the facility layout, building construction and mechanics needs.

  • Spring operated exhaust reels (SER)
  • Motorized exhaust reels (MER)
  • Fixed exhaust on boom (FEB)

4. Unlimited sized working area

These systems provide maximum flexibility. The working length is determined by length of exhaust rail and this allows easy future expansion by adding trolleys or additional hose reels. A single exhaust hose can service many areas by sliding on rails above the vehicles. Some products are specially designed for vehicles moving slowly in a work area.

An exhaust removal system can be made out of a number of different products, depending on your requirements, some examples:

  • Vehicle exhaust straight rail (STR)
  • Hose reel on rail (HRR)
