The KUA-200 ATEX is a flexible extraction arm solution for use in explosive environments

KUA is the extraction arm of choice and comes in various models. It is a flexible extraction arm for fume, gases and oil mist contaminants. Unique to the KUA is the combination of inner and outer arms of smooth aluminium tubing connected by our unique middle joint. The external easy-to-adjust elbow joint and the spring-assisted joint supported in double ball bearing make manoeuvring this arm a simple, one-movement operation. Position the arm exactly where you need it, when you need it.

Type ATEX (approved for use in explosive environments zone 1 and 21; marking Ex II 2G 2D) has a hose made of polyethylene with copper coated spring steel wire and is for use in explosive environments.

Only for hanging mounting.

  • For explosive environments
  • Universal mounting bracket with ball-bearing and friction pad allows for 360-degree rotation, ease of manoeuvring and ensures maximum life-span
  • Support mechanism ensures stability, smooth operation and minimum restriction
  • 360-degree ring handle allows ease of reach and access from any position
  • Smooth aluminium tubing allows maximum airflow and reduces the overall weight and noise level

This arm needs a partner in crime

The KUA-200 ATEX combines with the following units:

  • FUA
Extraction fan, recommended for small extraction systems.
  • FlexMax
Extension crane that can extend the reach by 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 or 4.5 meter (5, 8, 11.5, 15 ft). The maximum reach with the FlexMax is 8.5 m (28 ft).

Stationary units:

  • WallPro
Available with 1 arm and 2 arms, self-cleaning filter, from medium to high applications depending on the power level.
  • MonoGoplus
1 arm, disposable filter for light and regular welding applications.
  • DualGoplus
2 arms, disposable filter for light and regular welding applications.
